Default Introduction

Hello group I have been doing some research here and thought I could at least introduce myself. I am looking to become a 928 owner in the near future . Right now just learning what I can. I am a industrial equipment(predominately forklift) technician by trade . Hoping to find a good older 81-85 928.

Lots of places in the US named for the " old country " although we usually pronounce them a bit oddly

Shane...if you can make it to Royal Oak, our group of owners meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Four Green Fields (restaurant/pub) from 6:30pm until 9-ish. It's at the SW corner of 13 Mile and Woodward. We normally get 6-10 people, many more during the summer.

We have a great group here in Michigan. I'm in Canton. I'd show you my car, but it's in pieces...

Thanks for the welcome. Big Dave, appreciate the invite. I'll might be able to make it over there ,I have family near Adrian I visit from time to time. The only thing I have narrowed down yet is no sunroof. I am sure that list will grow!

Does the sunroof take away from headroom much? That was my only concern with one.

Sunroofs definately cut into your head room.

If you really want one without then think about expanding your years to include '78-'80, you will find you will be more likely to catch one without the sunroof.

There is a stripped down '80 in my shop without a sunroof...

Yes, but figures vary from 30mm to 65 mm (1 1/4" to 2 1/2")
