Too busy. I like the simpler ones the best, with the 9-2-8 numbers and the logo.

Don't ask what the last watch I got cost........ but it is the same company that makes the official Ferrari watches!! So of course I'll have to get one when I get my F-car

Yeah, that would be Panerai; mucho deniro. They make a very nice rose gold Ferrari watch.

I'll bet it's GP, and I like theirs better. Beautiful.

BTW Dan, I like that last one the best, very clean and unique.

Very nice job Dan. Very cool design.

I prefer the the last one too.

I might be interested depending on the final price.

The rose gold ones are SWEET.......but very pricey (about the price of a nice 89GT)....

Lightbulb clean design for a 928 wrist watch

For some reason, I got on a kick about a month ago and designed a face for a 928 wrist watch. During this time, I also perused some of the wrist watch threads here and there are quite a few that I haven't had time to finish yet, so I'm just going to post this for feedback...

Attached is a design that I spent some time on. I tried to create a simplistic, clean, classy/professional design. This watch is a Casio MQ24-1E watch, you can Google it to do the comparison and get the specs. The band is rubber; movement is Quartz 3-hand analog; has a composite case. A watch manufacturer is exchanging the face of the standard Casio MQ24-1E with the face I designed.

I was thinking of having a few of these made. I could likely offer them for around $120 - $140. I realize there's at least one other limited-edition 928 watch being made here on Rennlist, but it's price tag is far beyond my reach, unfortunately.

I welcome feedback... Sorry if I'm stepping on any toes....I just thought it would be fun to have a few of these.

I like the idea of a more realistically priced (for the rest of us) 928 watch. However, when the regular watch retails for $10, I find it hard to justify a $100 premium for the custom face.

My two cents.

I like it!!
Porsche may not though...

The 2 in "928" is incorrect. Spacing on 928 should be closer together, though I understand you were trying to right/left justify it with "PORSCHE"

Make the car a "silhouette" and it'll look better IMHO...

Hi Jim - Thanks. You're likely correct....I thought about not showing "Porsche" and just leaving the car shape and 928 only.
As for the '928' spacing, yes, it's evenly spaced for design purposes.

You're making some extreme assumptions. You're assuming I'm buying them in bulk at your nearest outlet. No, I would be buying these from a watch manufacturer, who then places my custom-designed faces in the watch and who also secures the OEM warranty with CASIO. And they also charge me a one-time set-up fee for the watch face. They don't do all of this for free!...
