And for the last picture, more connections at the back of the block.
I will take more pictures tomorrow and try to show MP IV and the MAF connection. I will also intall the harness on the inside of the firewall and take pictures of that as well.

Here is the Pigtail end from the cabin side of the harness after it passes through the firewall boot. I covered the wires/pins with plastic so they wouldn't get gummed up and then wrapped them with electrical tape. I did need to jack the car and crawl underneath to cut the tie-wrap on the firewall boot to remove the old harness. I cut the old harness at the point that it attaches to the cam cover and then pulled it out of the boot from inside the car. I was concerned about the 25MM corrugated loom (larger diameter than the factory sheathing) passing thru the boot so i lathered the end with petroleum jelly and it went in easily.

With the layers of shrink tubing pushed back toward the firewall boot and out of the way, the pins are inserted into the back of the 31 pin Deutsch connector. The pins seat with a very positive, "click" so that you know for sure it's all the way in. As you can see Deutsch does a good job of annotating pin numbers with white script on the orange weather seal. There are four spares on this connector as shown by the white blanking plugs in the weather seal.
The production harnesses will have a slightly longer pigtail and will come out a bit further from between the heater lines. That should help to ease installation, although this length i had to work with was not too bad i want it to be even easier.
