Today my stereo was on and I hit the driving
lights and the stereo what off for a 1/2 sec.

Can't remember if your radio was an Alpine unit. A Kenwood maybe.... I know that some of the older alpine units can cut off thinking that the short drop in power is a signal to turn the unit off.. not sure with your model radio. Did you install the unit your self. You should have at least 2 grounds to the head unit .. on my Honda and my Alpine and accesories I have 3 grounds to the head unit besides the dedicated grounding cable that is run for the amps.. In the 928 the previous owner had the Alpine unit installed by a well known installer. No problems yet.
