8" rear wheels

nice colour on your rims as well these old cars look fantasic when they are dropped, and they handle and stick to the road really well. i dont know if you actualy need the 9" rims, the biggest tyre you can get is a 245 in 16" - i think - and this fits on the 8". although i suppose the 9" rims would stretch the sidewall nicely. i wonder where i can find any of those??
A pic of Greg Grey's shark turned me on to the color -- Mercedes Austral Silver mixed with black tinter.
The cars do look good lowered, I don't think I would drop it quite as much as yours, but it's a bit too high as it is. Too bad my front suspension is the "non-adjustable" type. I'll be considering the upgrade soon.

8" pd came on some 951s, and if one wanted some magnesium 951 cup wheels probably just post in the 951 section.
There were 2 sets of them for sale recently.

The big question (for me) is will the flat dish 8" rears fit up front? I have a new (actually a couple) project that I am going the "retro road rod route" that I've always envisioned. It's going to either be PD's or FD's and I want to go 8" or 9" 'round the horn.
Espeeriences???
