I have a custom, one off intercooler that attaches to the AFM. I have yet to come up with a good way to fasten everything down. What I have now works, but it's not pretty.
78-82 cars you can dial back timing under boost due to the retard port on the distributor.
83-84 cars do not so I'm not sure how I would approach one of those. Maybe just set base timing real low, not sure. 6-7 pounds of boost probably wouldn't be a big deal. The hot setup would be to install an early distributor. They cannot be worth that much.

The connection to the AFM requires an adaptor to connect to the pipe coming from the blower. And you need to fasten the AFM down otherwise it will push out under boost.

For those that say they are not sure, just take a ride in a SC'd Shark and your thoughts will change
All it took was ONE ride in Tony's Supermodel and I was HOOKED
Tim, I think you'll have more sales with the 85-86 folks; just because most have been waiting for another option of boosting their Sharks

Hey Kevin I don't know what you do for a living but I work in the one off prototype business in the Detroit area working with some of the best designer and engineers around so I don't think if I did myself it would be half *** I'm sorry if that's what you think of your own attemted and as far as the value of my time, this car is a hobby working on it is what it's about.
I'm not saying that Tim shouldn't make any money for his time on figuring all the details out but cash is King and there is a saying what one man can another can do.

BnB, I didn't mean to offend, and I am sure you are capable. What I do for a living is two-part. The first is I build unusual additions on up-scale homes . Secondly, I work with a team of guys consisting of bodymen, painters, turbo builders and all around custom fabricators in a very cool shop here in Littlestown PA. My point is no matter what your talent, design/build work is expensive and time intensive.
