Default 928 poster

Does anyone know what poster is hanging behind Tom Cruise in the movie Risky Business? It appears to be a hood shot of a 928. Was this a current year factory brochure? Thanks in advance

I've wondered about it too. (Frame from the movie - notice the hand helping open the door. )

I have never noticed the hand and have seen the movie a thousand times. I do like the poster.

This poster has been discussed many times, and sadly never found.....

Someone with a red 928 should just take a high res pic like that and recreat the poster

I would be interested in that shot as well. Not hard to re-create. Dan Bise put together a great poster for one of the Sharktoberfest's years back. It was a great shot that this reminds me of.

WOW Keith, that's a cool looking poster. Dan did that?!? You never know what those architects are going to come up with

I don't remember ever seeing it before, maybe I missed that Sharktoberfest... Are there any more available anywhere that you know of? Or should I try Dan?

The original was taken with a different lens. With PhotoShop it could be perfected.

Rick-it was in the Petersen Automotive Museum for a couple of weeks advertising our showing there. There was only one and I have it.

F4G1B- The original is an OB, has the black beading between the hood and bumper cover, shot indoors at a different angle and has the headlight rings.

You are correct, there were no red 928 GTS cars in 1983.

This is the Tom cruise poster, but finding the poster it’s self is very hard. Luckily I spotted an 82 Porsche Audi Brochure with the same image. A nice photoshop to get the 82 NOTHING EVEN COMES CLOSE and you got the risky business poster

I'm 99% sure that this is wp0zzz92zjs845061, the first "production" Euro 928 CS.

My '86 S with a sheet of ice about 10 years ago... the ice was gone about 10 minutes later. Photo is in my office and always makes me smile.
