Jim, if you're going to wade in here, tell us something we don't know, like what is your opinion of using 90 weight or STP.
I'm waiting all this time for your input and you think you're gonna get away with 'belt flutter'?

Tensioners without oil in them for very long don't look very pretty. The discs wear very badly and the shaft gets big grooves in it from the discs.

The stock Porsche tensioner is virtually bullet proof....why not just replace the seals and fill it with oil? It will work flawlessly for at least as long as the belt will.
