Default A pic of my wife's car

I finally got a pic snapped of my wife's car since we got it back from the paint shop, and thought I would share it, as I have promised a few folks that wanted to see it:

I had a semi pro photographer snap some pics while at Renntreffen, and as soon as I get them, I will post a few of those as well. We were very happy how well the paint job turned out!

Regards,

That's lookin sweet! Nice touch with the aero mirrors and rear wing....maybe add some euro H4's and clear markers. What's the name of the color, and does it match the original?

Here's a couple more...

The color is the original factory color, which is pewter. Its an '82 that we bought from fellow Rennlister pewter82, and have spent a little bit of time and money on, but my wife loves the car and I imagine we will keep it until she wrecks it beyond repair. We've taken it on a few road trips, and aside from horrendous gas mileage (compared to my 944's anyway), its been a pleasure and has been very reliable.

We'll be restoring the interior next.

Oh, and sorry guys... tire dressing doesn't make the car go faster or more reliable, so it generally gets omitted! I'm sort of the "curmudgeon of car care", they get maintained, upgraded and driven regularly, but seldom do I go for the "concours" points! lol

I'll try to do better in the future!

Yea, and wearing nice clothes doesn't make you smarter. You just don't look like trash.

Keep the lady happy or she'll fall for the first guy that offers to shine her tires, LOL!
For women it's all about the shoes.

Scott,

As someone who is partial to silver sharks, my highest compliments. She's a beauty.
