Post L-Jet computer for Sale.

Hey guys.

I bought an L-Jet computer because that is what I thought the problem was with my 81. Well, it wasn't. So I will either keep it or sell it, depending on the offers.

Usually 500 or 600 from the big three used when they have one, I will sell this one for 400 plus shipping.

What was the problem? Did you ever figure out what was wrong with the ignition? Just wondering what you found.

Hello Lonnie,

I suspect that I have a grounding problem that keeps blowing the ignition boxes. I now have ground loop damage to the permatune, or this is how the bench test they have published points.

I am cleaning all of the contacts on the car that have anything to do with ground, so hopefully this should resolve it. I have checked the green wire, I have checked a myriad of other things, but it is also apparent that the main power source for all of the sensors on the car (located behind the + terminal in the engine) is terribly corroded. I will be rewiring that as well.

Seriously temped to simply pull everything that has to do with ignition and rewire it all. I don't think, as I said, that that is the problem, however, and that grounding is a major problem here.

Thanks,
