Default Motor Mounts

I know this has been hashed around a lot, but what is the current thinking on sourcing solid mounts. I need three sets. Last time I just went to NAPA and ordered a pair.

Does anyone have the Ford numbers for the Ranger mounts and the years they were made.

Thanks Much

IIRC Rog 100 has them for about $40.

Dan,
I have hundreds of them and they are $32 each including the correct hardware.

I bought a set from Roger and they've made a HUGE difference in ride quality.

BTW, when installing new motor mounts, a common WYAI project is a new silicone oil pan gasket.

I purchased a set from Roger and they worked great. Mine had collapsed, were riding on metal and the vibration was terrible. Now it's seems like a totally different car.

Here are some WYAIT items I have heard others talk about.
Steering rack w/ new boots
Oil Pan Gasket
GT (or is it GTS) oil baffle
Rod bearings
check flexplate movement.

Cheers,

Loosen the allen bolt and release flexplate tension, even on pre-85's with the circlip and washers!

I finally did this with my '81, after four years of ownership, and it moved 3mm!
