928ers,
Just wanted to give you a heads up. It's that time of year again when we fire em up and bring em down to the Texas Hill Country!
Attached is the preliminary agenda so you can make plans/hotel resv. etc. We're mixing it up a bit this year and bringing the event a little closer to the DFW metroplex. Granbury is a GREAT little town with lots to do even if the cars aren't for you!(IE wives, kids, significant others, etc) Please make Best Western resv. by 10/12/07 and reference the 928 Third Coast Event to avoid getting locked out. That is Veteran's Weekend!
Friday looks to be a great day with track opportunity for those that wish to do so at the world famous Motorsport Ranch. Tech Session during the day at Rob's place, and a welcome reception in beautiful downtown Granbury only minutes away from the track.
Saturday we'll head em up and move em out with a fun drive through the Texas Hill Country, break for lunch and then back at it.
We'll have another get together on the Granbury Square with more food and fun that evening.
Sunday we'll have our traditional show and shine back at Rob's place at Motorsport Ranch, with lunch and an opportunity to mingle before we head back home.
Take a look at the attached and if you have any questions, please feel free to call me at the # below or Roger Tyson at
m 972-523-9128. There will be more details to come including talk on Rennlist.com
Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
Chuck

This looks to be another great gathering of Sharks this year and we hope that not only the Texas members come, but those that feel the need to get in your cars, take a day trip and travel and meet up with us. Last year was a fantastic time in Marble Falls with some great people and this year looks like it will surpass that with a little track time.
Giving the fact we have the track reserved should satisfy those of us who have the need for pushing the envelope, and doing so in a safe envirionment. Rob has a wonderful place (most of us are envious) that we will be gathering for tech talks and the typical socialization. We might even be able to talk Roger into giving some tech advice.
Book your rooms and plan for a great time. Let's make this gathering one of the best in the country.
