Default How to disconenct 2-pin plugs?

I feel very dumb for asking this, but what's the usual way of disconnecting these 2-pin connectors? I wanted to remove the hood and these are used for washer jets but they are all over the car.

I'm sure I disconnected lots of similar connectors when I removed centre console, but they may have had more than 2 pins and I'm sure they had a release catch.

These look like they could be opened by pushing in the catches in recess on either side with a pincer-type plier, but I can't believe they can't be disconnected by hand?

Just wiggle and pull at the same time like Bill says.

Oh, yeah, I forgot to add pull after wiggle, wiggle, repeat as needed.
