Default Sparkplug Differences???

Going to change my sparkplugs in an effort to pass emissions.

On the label under the hood there are 2 Bosche plugs listed: WR7DC and WR7DP. What's the difference between the DC and the DP?

Thanks!

DC is a std. carbon steel center electrode, DP is platinum: the plug I've had best results with in both 16V and 32v cars is the DS version - Bosch silver electrode ....

Ken..........a recent observation when I checked my spark plugs (Bosch quad 4) were that they were not tight. They were not loose but required re-torque to get them to spec.

Perhaps the washer requires a 2nd tightening when they're new..........either way, 20 ft lbs they're all set to now.

Supercharged = Copper Plugs = WR7DC

Some of us are running WR6DC plugs (one range cooler).
