Hi , i just reinstalled my intake manifold and I tried turning it and it will sound really bad, i here some metal to metal contact, does any one know whats wrong? I think I might have the pistons hitting the valves.

Don't use the starter... try turning it slowly by hand using the crank bolt, removing the plugs could help.

1. Did it run before you took anything off?
2. Did you do anything with the timing belt?
3. Did you do anything with the cams?

If you didn't touch the belt/cams while doing the intake, this is a strong suspect.

Rotate it by hand and listen/feel for the noise. You may need a helper to turn it while you listen at each cylinder to find the exact location. I hate to say, but the damage may have already been done. You'll have to fish it out first.

i did not touch the cams or mess with the timing, I am pretty sure nothing fell down. I am going to put my car in storage this week. I am going to order a large amount of wires, tubes, and sensors. I have noticed many small things like a vacuum hose that was cut with a screw put in it. I am going to "with the help of instructions this time" take out the engine then write down whats looks like its broke or jerry rigged from previous owners and replace it. The engine is going to be taken apart and rebuilt. I have found one company that makes larger pistons for this car however I am considering buying a stroker kit. It will probably take me around 3 months to get the engine beefed up and reinstalled.

Ah ....."I am considering buying a stroker kit. It will probably take me around 3 months to get the engine beefed up and reinstalled. " People usually have waited for over a year just to get sent a " KIT "... Ordering a custom crank shaft takes 3-4 months then you also need to source pistons ,source connecting rods , bore and prep the block , balance the assembly , trial fit everything and then put it all together. You really need to use the search function and read about people's experiences building stroker engines.
