Hey Guys,
I was over at my auto parts supply place (S & G Imports), and they had a display of an oil I've never seen before, Elf Excellium full synthetic.
The price for the 5w40 5 liter jug was just $22.25, which struck me as a pretty good price for full synth. A quick cell-phone web browser reference of Rennlist made it look like the specs were good (per Doug Hillary's posts), and I was in time for an oil change anyway, so I decided to pick some up.
As it turned out, I grabbed the 5w40 DID 5L and three of the 5w40 NF 1 liters, but didn't realize until I cracked the DID open. I checked the oil specs on the DID (www.lubricants.elf.com) and decided to use it anyway. Plus, it had a cool pour spout!
Do any of you know anything about these Elf Excellium oils? Any thoughts? The NF is on the Porsche Approved Oils list, so it looks pretty good.

I love the S&G outlet here in GR. Banker's hours, high prices, usually order wrong component, but really great customer service. I like customer service.
Good luck with the oil!
