Post Its all got to go.

Okay. I truly tried, tried, and tried some more. The effort has been
spent, and the returns are not what I want, and my wife haslost interest
even more than I have. I have a very nice 89S4 5spd that has been dead
since October because of a computer strike, and I have spent way too much
effort and money on a car that my wife could truly care less about. The
blue 81 that I spent so much time and money on is going on the chopping
block, and will be parted out over the next few weeks or months. The
transmission is slipping. It is probably the total working pressure, as it
slips during the shift process in each upshift. I guess as a last ditch, I
could replace the modulator and valve behind it while on the car, but the
damn flex plate is rattling as well, and the engine needs a rebuild. We
all make mistakes.

Everything on the car is for sale. When I get down to the tub or close to
it, it will be sold as well.

Just a few things to give an idea:

Engine, harness, intake. - 500.00 - It has over 200k, but good
compression. It needs a serious reseal on the cam towers, and it blows oil
through the breather. I did the rod bearings and pan seal on my parking
lot floor.

Transmission (1984) - It has a very nice LSD, and the trans itself is
still working about 80% of the time. - 1100.00

MSDS headers - 200.00

TT - I rebuilt it. - 300.00

Chrome S4 flats with 20% left on the Kumhos, - 500.00

Phone dials that need to be refinished (deep scratches) with crap tires -
40 bucks a wheel.

Braking system - Rebuilt calipers, 3k on pads, rotors - 200 for all.

All Glass, Panels, and bumper covers - various prices, no damage save a
few scratches.

Interior panels, Dark Blue, in medium to good condition, leather all in
good shape except dash.

The a-arms have good ball joints - 50 each.

The rack was rebuilt and it has 15k tie rods - 200.

Just think of something that you need and call me. I am keeping The Devek
Rad, hood (for experiments), windshield, bilsteins and eibachs,

No Bull on shipping, I will find out how and do it.

All the money goes into my 89. I will never buy another car with an
automatic that I will have to drive.

Wow, Sorry to here that Brendan. Have you tried to sell it in one piece yet? It it such a shame to see another 928 get chopped up and especially after you put so much hard work into it. Maybe you should just store it some place for a year or so until things calm down a bit. Ya know, they don't make these cars any more and I think they really are classics as we speak, right now!

Brendan. I think my next door neighbor wants the steering rack. He's been looking on a decent deal on one for awhile now. He's been driving it with no power steering for about 9 months now. Talk about arm pump!!!!!!!

Hey guys. Thanks for the PM. That is a great way of getting me, as the *** address is non-comm right now.

A few things are spoken for.

The braking system.

The right rear tail light.

A few other items are in process, and I will update accordingly. Disassembly will start ASAP upon my closing on my new townhouse with a.....GARAGE!

Gery - I understand your point. I have two spaces in my new garage though. The car has 8-9k in it right now, and I will be lucky to get 4 back. I have to remember that this is not "my" car. Its my wife's daily driver, or was supposed to be returned to that state, but it will not be.

It hurts, as I promised myself I would never have a normal car in the family. I may have ot get some leased honda...

Sent you a PM.

If you have to get a "normal" car - try to get something with some style. The used car market is pretty depressed right now, so there are bargains to be had. Between the huge numbers of lease returns and the special new car deals, you can't give a used car away.

I forgot a few things:

I have two 81 computers, well, two pairs - ign and EFI. 500 for all four...

Half shafts are rebuilt with good grease and new boots.

The windshield looks spoken for, as well as teh headers, sunroof motor cover, and the other taillight.

I was hoping that someone could plan ahead and tell me if they need a tub or the whole stripped body.

Hey all,

I have sent a flurry of PM, and some have not been read. It will be difficult to keep to the first come first serve thing, but I am so far, because everybody wants something different, except for the dash and center console and door panels. A few people have emailed.

This is all working out well. Victoria will live on in the heart of the community, all spead around. That is what my wife named the car. My black 89 is called KIT for seprate reasons.

I still have many items, and most are the big ticket items:

Good condition LSD unit for an 83-86 auto trans. It comes with the trans 1100, but if you say it, it will be taken off.

Chrome S4 flats. Really nice: 500.

TT - rebuilt - 300.

(2) Efi computers, fits 80-83 I think. (AFM cars)
If I get 400 for both I am happy, and will throw in IGN boxes I bought as spares.

I am also selling the MAF from my 89 now taht I have everybodies attention. 300.00

Glass?
Doors?
Hatch?
Fenders?
tub?
Headlight assembly?
Bumper covers?
alternator?
ps pump?
heads?
Short block sans oil pan?
A-arms
drop links?

It continues......
Everything will be by paypal until I get irritated with thier skimmming me.
