Anyone know of a campground or a place I could pitch a tent nearby?

Pretty sure there is still a campground of sorts right along the west side I-95, between SR92/International Dr.(the exit for the Speedway) & the exit for I-4. Don't know the name of it, but its pretty big, pretty wide open & pretty popular.

We booked a room at the Acapulco Inn , 2505 S. Atlantic Ave, Daytona Beach Shores, Fl 800-245-3580. I looked it up on line and it seems pretty close to Daytona Speedway (5-6 miles) and is a newly refurbished hotel right on the beach. They seemed to have rooms left for anyone needing a place to stay.

Daytona Beach Campground, 386-761-2663. 5 miles from speedway. Probably your best bet.

International RV park and campground, 386-239-0249. 1-2 miles from speedway. Not sure if they do tents, or only RVs.

Orange Isle campground, 386-767-9170. 8 -10 miles from speedway.

Ross, I plan on going. If I end up staying overnight you can bunk with me and my significant other. As long as you bring your girlfriend along and can talk her into parading around half clothed. Whoops, did I type that out loud.
