Post Cowl induction hood pic

Thanks to Tabor, there is one pic posted of my 928 cowl induction hood mod under the "Chris Lockhart" thread. Have a look, and let me know what you think. Let the flames begin!!!!!! I can take it (I think)

Actually Chris the hood looks kind of rad. I see yellow brake calipers peaking out below. How about a full shot of the car?

Hi Chris,
I have a question about the hood. Are you putting it on for just looks or performance enhancement?

Thanks Kaz and Byron. I appreciate the input. Byron, as soon as I can figure out how to post my pics, I'll post a few. Been trying to build my own webpage on Rennlist, but unfortunately I can't seem to get the pics to load, only the text. Oh well.

John V. the hood is both for looks and for performance. (hopefully) I have a cold air induction system in work utilizing a 4" duct coming off the MAF, going upwards through a hole in the hood, and capped with a low profile K&N oval filter. The filter is sandwiched between the stock hood and the cowl section, allowing pure ambient air into the intake. I plan to run back to back dyno runs with stock vs modded set-ups. May help, may not. We'll see.

Thanks for the vote of confidence John. I will definitely post my results, along with finished pics of the entire set-up. (hood, intake, filter) It will probably be early spring before I'm complete, but it should rock!!!!

Chris-

Should rock? Nah. WILL ROCK!
Be sure not to let it lean out when you're on the NOx. Not a good thing.....

Rick I'm already running an adjustable/rising rate fuel pressure regulator, plus the N/E system has a pressure cutout that will shut of the nitrous if the fuel pressure drops to low. Should be safe.(saying that with fingers crossed) I just can't wait to get it done and get it back on the dyno!!!!!!!!!
