Just learned last week that there are more new windshields available ; as before contact Michelle @ 714- 535- 5658 . She was able to negotiate the same very good pricing but we all know that will not last ...

Be aware - the early cars had a bronze internal tint (not referring to the upper edge or UV band which can be different colors) and the later cars had a green internal tint. I went through this issue with several glass distributors trying to find a bronze tint windshield for my 81.
This means if you buy a newer windshield, which is a green tint to use on a early car that orginally had the bronze tint, you will have a mismatch between the tints.
Besides the tint difference, the later cars have the antenna embedded in the glass, where the early cars do not.
The windshield may fit correctly; however, it may not look right.

Bronze is reportedly no longer being made and later cars 89 up had no antenna they went roof mounted for better reception.
