If you really need a replacement, check my
website (systemsc.com), one of my dealers
(e.g. 928 Int'l) may have an inexpensive used
one or can get you a new or rebuilt one.

These units rarely ever go bad. Over the
last ten years I've only repaired maybe
4 units. Don't waste your money w/o borrowing
one to try first.

Good luck

Thanks guys.

I'm 98% sure that the ignition module is my problem.

Lets get something strait, so I know I'm understanding you.

78-84 US, and 78-83 Euro 928
Single distrubter, TSZ control unit, frount passnager's side of the engine bay. Mechenical advance and retard.

84-86 Euro
Dual distributer, circulare, in place of the single distributer. EZU computer control unit, in passanger footwell.

87+
Dual distributer, on timeing belt covers, EZU comptuer control unit in passanger foot well.

Right?

Thanks guys, I think I now need to pony up the cash to go buy a good used one. That what you get with a $5,000, 20 year old car. Hopefuly this is that last I post on this!
