Hey Chris... (Lockhart)

Maniac, I'm about computer illiterate, so I don't know how to post them here. Send me your e-mail address to Biguns928gt@aol.com and I'll send you some. You can post them here if you know how, or just check them out yourself. Don't have any pics of the induction pipe yet, as my prototype is kinda rough, but the hood is almost complete. Just needs some small tweeks and paint. I'm sure the pics will start another flame war, but what the hell.

Thanks Tabor. I appreciate the post. BTW, what am I doing wrong??? Is the fact that the URL is HTML screwing things up? I see off on the left of the screen that it says "HTML is not enabled" here on the discussion board. This have something to do with it? Any rate thanks for posting the pic. Now to don my Nomex underwear.

Pretty wild, Chris! Beauty of it is that you still have your original hood to reinstall if/when necessary.
Just out of curiousity, did you consider venting the hood up near the windsheld and mating up to the air filter housing in some way (my buddy's AMG E55 has a set up like that)? Or is the bulge for clearance of other, ahem, performance devices ?
Cheers!

Hey Chris,
I love it! Can't wait to see it completed at the next SITM...I assume, of course, that you won't be doing any of the 'spirited driving' since you won't be able to see the turns .
take care,
Jim

Chris, you were trying to post the image as "http://www.momentoffame.com/snapshot.html?id=10299", this is in fact a URL to a web site. On this web site there is an image tag that points to the file "http://www.momentoffame.com/snapshots/MomentOfFame/l10299.jpg".
The image tag is in the format <IMG SRC="http://www.momentoffame.com/snapshots/MomentOfFame/l10299.jpg"> Try this in your Rennlist webpage.

Thanks guys for the positive re-enforcement. I know it's a bit radical, but what the hell.
Rick, I could have done something like you mentioned, as Devek has done to the white car, but that wouldn't intimidate the competition as much.
Jim, I'll definitely have it all ready for SITM, but you're right, I won't be hangin the curves like we did in September. Visibility is "somewhat" diminished. lol Should be plenty peppy with the hood/cold air mod, Devek level 2 headers, and a 75 horse shot of nitrous. I'm looking to get in the 400 rwhp range like the supercharger crowd, but for one eighth the cost. Thank again guys for the positive responses.
