How about you paint part of the hood ? like the old Mustang Mach 1 treatment. That way it looks like it is part of the car and not look like something from another car that just got bolted on ...after the accident. Someone dent your hood ??? Wow is that carbon fiber ? is it light ? Sure is ,it is almost as light as the factory aluminum one Have fun that is what it is all about.

Looks like Andre had one too... here's what it looks like

Naw... couldn't find a regular style. It;s okay. The evader gives a little margin for the blower.

Andrew - Eh - its ugly! (even painted)

Just too angular for the smooth lines of the car... you didn't really need someone to tell you that though....

Now as an extra "pedestal" for the hood posing - I guess maybe it works OK for that?

Awwww c'mon guys...

I'm at least reserving judgement until I have a chance to mount it and see what it looks like on the car.

there was a guy in Phoenix, i think, trying to sell a plain flat carbon fiber hood on eBay some time ago-----

could not even get one bid on it.

maybe you should just put black cloth over your hood, the kind of cloth you would use in the flower garden to keep weeds from growing.......and then see what it would look like.....?

I used something similar to Photoshop (paint.net). It should be able to it, just takes time.
