1981 Shark

My sons called me yesterday afternoon to tell me they spotted a red 928 in Monroe, LA. Traffic was such that they couldn't do a U-turn and follow, so it came and went quickly. Another 928 is indeed a rare occurrence around here. Anyone out there know anything about it? Thanks.

Could be Abby's car. I believe its red and it is in LA. Maybe the shop guys are testing it. Was it an old style body or an S-4?

1981 Shark

As best as I can remember, Abby's in south LA; I'm in north LA -~250 miles away. I had a lengthy discussion with my son, but unfortunately, I haven't imparted as much 928 ID skills as needed to delineate which model. He couldn't tell me if the rear spoiler was like mine or like the S4/GT; he did say the rear spoiler was black, though.
Funny thing is they were very excited to see one and called me while driving (a no-no for mom ) to tell me.
