Default My interior is out of my car... what to do?

Well my father literally woke up one morning and was in this spectacular mood to take ALL of the interior out of the 928 with a dream of having the leather redone. I contacted Paul Champagne, as most of us do, and he is booked solid until August '08.

I mostly need new carpeting, the dashboard re-leathered, and the gauge pod leathered as well.

Any way to get this done a bit quickly? I had no idea he was going to start this project without actually knowing who can help us do the work...

Any sites that sell the leather pre-done so we can take it to a local installer?

Anything?

Try contacting Rob Budd at http://www.928leathershop.com/

He sells all of that stuff, and you can get your carpet from him while you're at it.

I hope he was thoughtful and bagged evey fastener with its particular assembly, it makes putting thing back together even easier, if you have things apart try removing the carpets from the various parts and tossing them into the washing machine , then a good vacuum job to return the nap to original, you might be surprised what some Tide will do for your carpets

Go with Rob. I had an issue with an item I ordered from Rob (Under hood heat shield). I think it may have been my fault during application. Rob did not hesitate to send another one out free of charge!! You will get the best of service with Rob. Period. Someday when the Hybrid, body and paint are finished, allowing me to devote more $$ to the interior, I'll replace all of my "ghettofied" bits with Rob's leather stuff.

Thanks for the replies! My dad is going nuts. I can't wait to see how everything turns out. I may go down one weekend to help him.

Good suggestion on throwing the carpets in the washing machine. Too bad the black carpet has faded to a nasty brown from the sun!

Bottle of RIT dye will make those carpets black again.
