Question Coolant disposal?

The local O'reilly's (Dallas, TX) offers engine oil reclamation..... Where does one dispose of used coolant?

Thanks in advance.

Our local Firestone dealer has a deal with the county (Santa Clara, CA) to take used coolant.

My city has tox-drops which are open on alternating Saturdays. They accept both motor oil and antifreeze.

Check with your city or county waste disposal organization - many of them have drop sites.

Thanks for the quick response gentlemen.

I'll do some digging and post where us Dallas types can dispose.

In Cincinnati it is legal to dump it down the toilet for processing...or so I have been told.

My local WalMart Super Center has a can for used oil, and one for used coolant. When I first asked, they said they didn't take coolant. But when I saw the big drum marked COOLANT and asked again, I got a different answer.
