Curious about the passenger space (vs 944)
are we talking about roughly the same dimensions and/or is "passenger space" an oxymoron? just wondering how big it is back there, never ridden (or at least don't remember) my grandad's 928 before he sold it. tia

You've got more room in the back of a 928 than a 944 but it's all relative. You still don't want to stick people in the rear seats for long. More room up front too. With seats down it'll carry more as well.

I am probably as German as it can get (born, raised and educated in Stuttgart), but I don't understand your tag line. Obviously, you like drinking German beer, preferrably from a big glass - but what in the world should the rest of the sentence mean? I can't figure it out...
Or did I loose my German language skills in the nine years I've been here?

oops.. forgive my german - is not my mother tongue. neither is french, except that i am fluent in that one.
try again:
"je bois de la biere allmande, surtout dans une grande verre, et vous? (a peu pres 75cl)!"
hope that helps.
Nicole - have I not seen you crossing the GG Bridge (gold) ?

Hi there:
So, all you are saying is "I like to drink German beer, preferably from a big glass, and you?".
Well, if you ask me, I don't care much about the size of the glass. It's what's in it that's important... ;-)
It's not likely that you have ever seen me crossing the GG Bridge in a 928 - I don't think I ever did.
Usually, when I get to the bridge, I have visitors from out-of-town - and then you have to look for a dark green Saab (as if there weren't hundreds of those...).
I avoid taking the 928 into the city - I just worry too much about it then. Where to park it safely? Are any of those crazy drivers going to hit me (Hi, Phil!)?
My 928 is slate grey, but another member of this board lives in Marin County and owns a gold 928S. Stick around - maybe she reads this thread?
