928sRus are on the case and will look at coming up with an alternative that will fit at least 87 through 95cars. We will try and incorperate the sound deadening found in the 92 to 95 cars.
According to PET the foam clad complete rear fender liner did not start until the 92 GTS. Does anyone have the complete liner in an earlier 91?
85 to 91 (and maybe earlier) had a front and rear splash shield on the drivers side and a front splash shield on the passenger side.
Part numbers for the GTS rears are 928 504 303 04 Left and 928 504 304 04 Right. My current price for these parts are $595.95 each. By contrast the fronts without the foam cladding are $189.95 each and do not deteriate as far as I have seen in my own cars.

Gary,
Can you elaborate on the liner from the S4 - are you talking about the splash shields or a complete fitting liner like the GTS ones?
Thanks,
Roger

I'd take 2 if aftermarket replacements were available.

Roger,

If you recall, I bought a used '87-89 left fender rear liner section from you last spring. I had one of these from a totaled car here, and had trimmed it to fit in the rear part of the left side of the '94, going up to about the area where the cover for the PDS system is. With proper trimming at the top, and along part of the sides, it fastens right in with the OE screw holes and the attachment points in the GTS fenders.
I used the one I got from you for the right side fender. This one I reversed, so the original "back side" was now the front side. Again, I trimmed it to shape, taking off the upper ~1/4 of it, and some on the inner side of the fender well as I recall. It fits perfectly, with the OE mounting holes and the little "slot" in the side matching up with the brace part of the left side fender. These partial liners are made of MUCH better plastic material than the '91+ full liners.

I didn’t realize this has been lingering for so long. I could use some help knowing which alternative parts to order for the GTS rear well liners. Trying to figure out the difference between the 89 and older and the 90-91 and which would best fit a GTS.

In the PET: Front of the well, 928.504.303.02 is for 89 and older and 928.504.303.03 is for 90-91.
Rear of the well, 928.504.304.02 is for 89 and older and 928.504.304.03 is for 90-91.

I believe I would want the ones highlighted in yellow below, correct?

Also trying to figure out if the highlighted covers will work with the PSD covers 928.504.375.02 and 928.504.475.00. I’m not sure what those look like as Porsche must have removed them when they put on my euro bumper.

I also assume whichever year alternative is best for the left side is also best for the rightl(?)

Thanks / Bruce

EDIT - I added prices from searching Pelican

On my 90 S4 the right rear is only a partial and I will have to check my 91 right rear. But the driver side rear on my 91 GT is a full liner and on the 90S4 it is just covering the PSD.
Hope that helps.

Hi Bruce. Aside from the full WW liners Porsche put in the GT and GTS cars I don't think there is any cover or splash gurard for the rear of the right rear WW; and there are no mounting points there for one.

By the way, if the covers shown will help you get through your inspection, especially the left rear splash guard, I'll send you one that I have around here. PM me your address if interested. I'll also send the two front splash guards.

I don't know what items 10 and 11 are in your PET diagram.

Bruce, I got the R and L '91-and-before panels from Roger a while back. The L fits reasonably well to cover the PSD unit. I fabbed up a mounting bracket at the top and used foam around the edge to fill the gap to the fender. Seems to be keeping the PSD protected from rocks, roadspray and so forth.

Haven't tried doing the R. There doesn't seem to be anything under there like the PSD that really needs protection from the elements, but based on Gary's remarks it should install fairly easily.

bilal - Thanks, that helps a lot. In the PET picture, it doesn't look like the GT has a full liner, but that certainly explains the price.

Jerry - Thanks, I'll buy new.

Tom - Thanks. Attached is a pic of what's in the front of the right-side well. It's too cold here today to figure out where it goes, but looks like fuel line with a check valve or something. Not sure as I would have assumed the hard line right beside it is fuel. Regardless, as a soft hose, i don't want it exposed.

We did this exercise about two years ago. Went back and looked at my notes.
928 504 309 03 is NLA ( I just checked again) also the 309 04 is NLA.
I bought the 12 x 309 04 and have 7 left currently. Available for $38.95 each.

The 309 04 fits over the PSD perfectly but has no access panel. It also fits in the same position on the right fender and helps protect the main fuel line. You just flip it over.

In the front of each rear fender you can use the panels 928 504 303 02 Left and 304 02 Right. I sell these for $71.61 each.

This was a reasonable solution for replacing the complete fender liner and offers complete protection for the PSD.

928.504.375.02 and 928.504.475.00

Bruce these are the wheel arch extensions for the Japanese market IIRC.

Invoice me, baby! I'll take 2 of the "309.04" (1 for the left and 1 for the right); and 1 each of the
"928 504 303 02" (left) and the "928.504.304 02" (right).

Thank you, Sir Tyson!

Are these GTS liners you are describing?

The thread is about GTS liners, so I'm assuming so?
