Cool Tuning potential.....86.5 928........Marc- Devek?

Marc or other experts please help.
Considering an 86.5 for my next 928 in the future and I am cuurious if the powerplant has the same potential for tuning as the early cars which benefit from stage 2 headers/exhaust, RR fuel pressure reg, dyno tuning etc..
Can these motors also expect a 30-40h.p.gain from these mods?
How robust are these motors compared to the 8v?
Can chips produce any real benefit?

Thanks Guys/Gals

Darren,

Get the Devek headers and bolt on a supercharger. The supercharger will guarantee you will get the power you want with the least investment.

I will dig up some S3 dyno sheets and get them posted on the website. But you should be able to get a gain of over 30 rwhp with DEVEK level 2 headers and exhaust including cats!

The ultimate potential is simlar to S4's, just require a tick more work due to piston and head configurations.
