Well, if you want the hp gain between an S4 and GT, then yes. The early 5L 4v cams are a better performance grind.

Of course you need to know they don't bolt in, but MK can tell you where to get them done and how much it will cost.

I have an extra set if someone wants them

it will go pretty well until you get to the driver side exhaust cam

you have to lap off the ends and the driver side exhaust needs to be modified by elgin cams to be fitted with a wider bearing area.

mk

there are some pics of this on the "holbert" cam thread.

Hello Stan,
I checked the #'s on the one I bought from you last year and there the same as the one you have now,
end's with 2R not 4R . Not Clear -- does it have to end with 4R to be a GT & ending with 2R it's not
a Gt ?? Also our date codes are the same, mine's pretty clearly marked and it looks like MBF not M8F
Do you suppose the 2R refer's to second revision of a GT (R) manifold ? Who can tell us. Or maybe
just measuring would tell all, I put the calipers on the widest section of the port opening -- right where
the gasket would go and got a size of 2'' Does anyone have a diamention on a S-4 port so we can
compare ? Thanks...
