Question best place to get floor mats?

has anyone ever bought from this seller on ebay? They look like decent quality and are more than half the price of the lloyd mats.
Thanks

buy porsche mats for $90. or if you want the custom lettering buy the Lloyd mats from anyone

I WOULD NOT SUGGEST ANY Ebay sellers. I have been looking for mats myself and am not impressed.

I have trouble with the idea of spending in excess of 110$ for floor mats.

Just picked up Lloyds from Performance products-- They're sharp & very well constructed--you get what you paid for...

I bought a set of black mats from "autoetc." They're a lot lighter than the factory mats, and don't fit as well, but I would say they are more than half decent.

I couldn't decide if I wanted to replace my mahogany carpet with black, so I bought these mats to see how how I'd like the black with my otherwise mahogany interior. I've been in no rush to either get them out of the car, and I'm fairly particular about looks.

That said, I would certainly prefer to have the factory/Lloyds mats, and when I redo my carpet, I'll be budgeting the real McCoy in. But for now, the "autoetc" stuff works just fine and looks alright.

I just grabbed a couple of quick pics for you; I think they show the fit issues I was referring to above, and show that they look a lot better than any generic, autoparts store set you could buy!

Perhaps if they were color matched to the carpet, their shortcomings would be even less apparent.

If this kind of thing troubles you, then you should seriously reconsider ownership of a 928. Not trying to be a dick or anything, but these cars aren't known for being inexpensive. I don't want to be there when you have to buy plug wires.

FWIW, I've got a set of used set of Lloyd's mats that came with my used interior I bought a few months ago. There's a reason why they cost what they do. Mine are easily 10 years old and still look good with no wear patterns on them.

If you roll over and pay Porsche-inflated prices for everything then you are stupid.

Excellent appearance and wearability represent $$ in floor mats. I have factory mats that the P.O. installed and they are heads and shoulders better than any I have purchased as aftermarket...and good aftermarket mats aren't cheap. $98.00 for Porsche mats represents a more realistic value for the dollar than many other factory parts.

Well, to be honest, you're being a dick, I'm being realistic.

Why don't you pay for a membership? This is a Porsche site, but the prices for membership aren't Porsche inflated.

No, you were being a dick so I responded accordingly. You're a thin skinned dick.
