The Parts Trader
Let's trade parts. I have for interesting trades:
1985 red over black 1985, 200k miles, runs great, passes smog great, interior excellent except for warped rear panels, exterior very nice with a few cosmetics but great paint.
complete exhaust systems from GTS; S4; GT; 86.5; 85; early as well as a Y-pipe for early cars.
All sorts of parts from earlier cars
1983 4.7-litre engine
86 euro S cams in their housings
85+ sport seats
85+ 8-way seats
many pistons and rods
GTS CD changer
Many interior parts
many doors and fenders
sunroofless 1980
I need:
996 seats
18/19-in wheels and tyres
leather sewn pieces from later cars
GTS dash

I'm looking for a "good" set of black seats. I also need an unwarped head liner - black or brown. I have some parts, .... but can pay cash if the price is right.

Hmmm, a silver powder coated, never installed intake for S4 along with silver powder coated cam covers - done by Carl, a set of good, or so I was told, axles, a torque tube that may need new bearings, I just replaced it when I put syncros in, tons of misc stuff... New door seals, rear muffler, two sets of downpipes and cats, It's amazing what you can collect over time.
I hope this is not considered a hijack, if so, I sincerely apologize.

I've got an oil pressure/volt gauge out of a Euro that I'd like to trade for one out of a US car. The difference between the Euro and US versions is that the Euro one I have has the warning indication messages in German instead of English. It's from an '85 or '86, but different model years may be the same as well. The warning messages on this one consist of ABS, BREMSFLUSSIGKEIT, BREMSBELAG, HANDBREMSE, AND OELSTAND. I'm looking for one with the messages ANTILOCK, BRAKE FLUID, BRAKE PAD, PARK BRAKE, ENGINE OIL.
I'm kind of looking for an S4 A/T tach gauge face too if there happens to be one around. Maybe if someone has an otherwise hopelessly destroyed tach laying around that still has a good condition face?
