Wow....after years of being abused for believing it might happen! Hopefully this is based on reality and not on the old rumors.

Can't even fathom how much they'll cost.

Possibly Porsche has realized that it does need a luxury GT cruiser after all, thanks to competition like Aston Martin and VW announcing their upcoming products (which would also shove that price range waaay up). Considering VW currently owns several large supercar companies, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Bentley, and it's own super-products, that makes it all the more interesting (also considering its newly retired chief was Ferdinand's grandson).

Unhappy

Unless I hit the lotto I don't see the, as of yet, undefined Super-Luxo Porsche steering wheel being grasped by my knarled fingers.
But then ... that never stopped my 20+ year lust affair with the 928. Who knows..... .
Can hardly wait!

I hear ya John. The new V-10 Carrera GT is every bit as likely to appear in my
garage as "the new 928" (whatever they may call it). By the time it is designed,
built, and for sale I think the price is definitely going to be up there
in the stratosphere somewhere.... somewhere well out of the grasp of my knarled
fingers as well !!!

Cool

Maybe we can work out some kind of trade-in deal with Mr Wiedeking?

In five years I could afford one for sure and will do just that providing I can get it past the War Dept. I guess I should start buttering her up. I'll put it on the table, after all our house was just completed and that was more $ than that Carrera GT.
