Post Brake pad light

The previous owner installed new brake pads before I bought it from him. The brake pad light is still lighting on the console. How do I reset it?

thanks

lacast,
The brake warning light cannot be reset!

If the light is on, it's due to a disconnection in one of the two circuit. (Front and rear)

This system is relatively simple - You have a wire loop running to each set of brake pads. If/when the pads are worn down to a certain level, the wire will be worn too, and the loop will be disconnected.

E.I. the warning light will be on if the pads are worn, or if you have a broken wire, or a bad connection in one of the circuits

If you study the wiring diagram, you can see where/how to check the individual loops. (With a Ohm tester)
