Default Get yer TSB's while they're hot....

I came across this link on another site I frequent. My guess is it won't be too long before this is shut down for bandwidth, but there are at least a bunch of old tech service bulletins for the '90 MY.

http://www.bedlib.org/ebsco.html
click the ARRC graphic

Use the following user name and password:
user lib
password access
then click the ARRC link in the new window that comes up.

Oh, and you may find service info for your other DD's too.

Ryan--

I used the "save" function on ther page. You'll need to rename the file appropriately and spec a location, but it's PDF and works fine.

i tried to save but only got a web archive. So when i click the icon it opens up my web browser and goes to the site. I will look at it again, i guess i can probably change the default format that it saves it in.

The central tube installation TSB is interesting. Seems Porsche was concerned back in '92 about the effect on crankshaft bearings.

Right click and "save as" for each entry. Don't try to view in your browser. You'll need to name each file since they all default to "data.pdf"

What a treat, thanks Rob!

The piston squirter question is answered. One of them has the engine number when oil squirters in the '87 blocks stopped as #81H00677

Thanks Rob! Seems porsche mainly recommends 0W-40 and 5W-40 oil.

Have your bosses send me the bill for the lost productivity this afternoon. I know it blew up about 2 hours of my day yesterday when I found it.

Someone with lots of free time ought to be able to capture and assemble every 928-related TSB for this. I think there are a lot of interesting tidbits in here about what Porsche were concerned with at various times during the model's run.

Wow, great find.

Now if i had an extra couple of hours I'd download them all.

Hope it stays up for a while.

Thanks again.

Rob you ROCK!

I volunteer to do 1985! I'll download everything and put them in a Zip file. If anyone wants one, just send a PM and I'll e-mail it or put it on a CD and mail it out for cost.

Anyone else?

EDIT: I've got them. Only 17Mb(I didn't get the list of tools, or the bulletin lists, just the Tech bulletins)
