I agree with Gaz... I think it is kids today. And NOT a NJ thing. It is the way you are brought up, and how you are tought to repect other peoples belongings. I would like to think I helped in that respect a little last night.

I'd go bezerk if anyone sat on my car at any time. Only naked chicks may lean against it. No clothes = little likelihood of scratches.

I'm all for the naked broad on the car, I wouldn't putting up half the fuss if that was the case. Dave I had a brief thought of grabbing the kid by the throat, but, thought better of it, figured I might wind up with a law suit against me. Then I have a bigger problem....

I have two mid-teenage boys and they are far less respectful than I was when I was young - for which I take the blame.
However, they both know far better than to "violate" anyone's car ever. I have put the fear into them re other people's property.

I've been to my share of classic car shows, up and down the east coast, and I've NEVER seen a person lay a hand on a car on display. No signs needed, though I always saw people with signs on their cars; it's just a given. When I have my car on a display, though, I very rarely leave its side unless someone I know and trust, who also has a car on display, is standing nearby and will be while I'm gone. Kinda takes the fun out of car shows. 
If I saw someone sitting on my car; hell, sitting IN my car, even if I left it unlocked, would catch a beating.

I think " No Touch" signs are redundant- people who appreciate what they're looking at would never dream of touching, and people who are inclined to put their greasy fingers on your ride will do so regardless of a sign. I challenge anyone to create a longer run-on sentence.

Even at our casual parking lot 'shows', where the visiting population is almost exclusively enthusiasts, most folks don't realize that purses, cameras, jacket zippers, belt buckles, etc., are all dangerous weapons around the cars.
Insisting in only naked females is no guarantee that there won't be damage. Considering the proliferation of body piercing and the associated jewelry, even contact with her most tender body parts risks damage. Inspect your model carefully before you pose her for pictures!

my kid knew better before he could walk... I think it's a class thing. if you grow up in a family that treats everything like crap, doesn't respect each other and lies/cheats/steals as a way of life, it's no suprise to see their kids not respecting anything else on the planet.
