Default Low milage 1980 Euro S for sale

I'm going to part with my 1980 Euro S. Its a great project but I want to pursue a different hobby so I'm going to let this car go. Price is 3,000. firm.

The good:

This is a 5spd car.
The car has only 50,000 miles.
Has the correct 300hp engine.
The engine runse great, starts easy and idles nice.
The body is nice and straight
Car drives and stops very well.
It has a set of BBS wheels on it , 16 x 8 all around.
Tires are promised to someone else but I will put on a set of usable rubber

The bad:
The paint is ugly...it's a metallic copper color and is badly faded.
A few small surface rust spots around the rear window.
Tranny shifts & gets all the gears but the synchros are weak.
The interior has nice door panels, roof and rear panels but the seats and dash are pretty ugly.
I'm sure it needs attention to the various window switches etc.

Car would be an easy track cadidate or put the work in and have a nice street car.

Pics. will be difficult because it is in indoor storage. If there is interest I'll make the effort to move the cars surounding it.

I probably should have mentioned that this car was a daily driver when I bought it last year. It really does run well. I'm going to get some pictures this weekend....they won't be great but I'll get what I can. I'll also check out what is and isn't working.

Jadz928,

I never thought to ask that. Is there a sticker somewhere that will give me a clue?

I only bought this car because it's fairly rare and given the low miles, the price was right. I bought it sight unseen and was not unhappy with the value received. If I was going to keep doing 928 projects, this was going to be my next one.

Knowing me, I'll probably pull it out of storage for the pictures and get all excited about it again. Then comes the seller's remorse

LOL! No doubt. I've been waffling on selling my '85 ever since I put it up for sale. The worst is if I take it for a ride - then I get the inevitable - why am I selling this thing, I love this car!

Andrew,
Just so you know......I am open to trades for other 928's that are not projects.

Maybe something in RED ?

maybe I could even throw in an extra car from my list

Oh sure... just when I finally get it to the point where I want it... I don't think so, Dave!

But is all seriousness, one of my local boys and I went and looked at a car last month. It wasn't running and the price was too much. He wanted to consider it, but I told him we should hold out for a running euro. Ding ding ding! We have a winner!

Now I just have to pry the $$ from his hands... I could afford it my self, but I don't have the storage for it. He does. We'll need to work something out. Give me a day... maybe two. I WANT THIS CAR!

Default Low milage 1980 Euro S for sale, new pictures

I hosed the dust off of it and took the best shots I could in very cramped quarters. It fired right up and I let it run for a 1/2 hour.

Hurry up......I'm feelin' that buyers remorse comin' on
