You have to get up before dawn to catch them while they're biting. You may recall I did the same thing, but I lost 2 clips. Keep fishing. If it's the driver side, there are some ledges down there where the clip will come to rest.

Eagleday sells the clips at a ridiculous price, but they are the better clips (simply hooked over at the ends) that will not fall off nearly as easily as the stock ones.

If you buy these injector pigtails, they include the improved clip, all for $2 each.

Well, at least no one has recommended duct tape yet.

just run without it. you don't have enough excitement in your life anyway

interestingly i ran the tilo car for a year without any clips at all with no issues.

Duct tape should have been the first solution and should not have required mentioning.

Well I tried compressed air, and even water to flush it out from where ever it's hiding... no luck. Where could it have gone?

Oh well. I'll order a few up today for overnight shipment. Just pissed that I'm going to pay $15~$20 fro a $0.65 part!

Have you checked first to see if anyone in town carries those clips? They might be in stock somewhere. Dennis and Stan have had some good luck getting some obscure parts at a European parts supplier here in Royal Oak.

They are same as all bosch injectors, no? Go to a VW dealer or wrecking yard. (there might be one in Michigan)

Andrew! The injectors are standard Bosch style unit and from looking at the clips so are they. You can find these at any junk yard. Just go to the closes junk yard and pull one off a V8 Ford (Crown Vic, Grand Marquie, F150, Mustang, etc.) All you need is a pair of needle nose pliers!

LOL Rod, I didn't see your post!
