Hi there,
A friend of mine got an email from him asking how the payment was going to be made!

This guy is quick...

Also his name was in the email!

What a dumbass!

Cool

Here is another twist, sounds likely. In one of his other auctions for a glideslope radio, a bid was retiracted stating "discovered that item is stolen" sounds like Mark is having his problems. I wonder how his court appearance went yesterday.

Hello,

This has been one story!! It looks like you guys have eveything under control except saving the winner from sending him there money!!! I really like SteveG idea of placing a bid on the item then retracting it!! Letting other people read why you retracted will hopefully make them change your mind!!

Here is an an idea for a bid retraction:

Look at the second picture and see his name!!

(lame but think of others)

Also all 928 owners do not use rennlist so they do not know of this!! I use rennlist and I never knew four people got ripped off by this guy until I read this!! Thank god for rennlist !! Well there is my idea!! If you have any ideas please post them!!

We have about 2 days to stop someone from getting ripped off and also great detective work everyone!!

Thanks,

Shawn

Question

Hey I was just wondering if anyone of the gentlemen that were ripped off by Mark have tried to call the phone number that is listed in the picture of his other item.

I would also like to say its great to see everyone sticking together to take care of some of the trash out there.

Hey Gang!
If anyone gets really desperate, I will sacrifice my ORIGINAL set of manuals for $1000.00 or so.

This could backfire. He might send the auction winner a set of authentic manuals.

Cool

Naw...... I'd NEVER post a retraction message like that!! and I'd NEVER write every bidder listed there telling them that he screwed a bunch of Porsche enthusiasts NOT ME oh no!!

Thumbs down

Hey! While we are on the subject of Porsche Owner ripoffs on E-Bay, Heres another one to stay away from. His name is Barry Richards, lives in New Jersey and goes by Barrypr@Bellatlantic.net. Won a rear console from his auction 3 months ago. Never received it and now his phone is disconnected. B______STARD EVEN GAVE ME POSITIVE FEEDBACK FOR PROMPT PAYMENT. "highly recommend". Yeah, I guess so! Easy money, right?

dr. bob,

I think you are on to something there.

Jack,

Probably a stupid question but did you have any luck with EBAY fraud department or have you received the same feedback as which has been posted within Rennlist.

Talking

I just relized something by reading a post from the 944 forum, this guys auction is so high now and not only will he not see that money he will also have to pay the extra fees to ebay for the high sale.

GOTTA LOVE THAT

DAVE
