With just a little luck, we could have the largest single assembly of Supercharged 928's ever pulled together in one place...

All makes and models are welcome!

Joe - how are you guys getting your cars out there?
Joe and I are having 911 Design transport our cars. He has a 6 car transporter and is leaving from So Cal. He has taken our cars there in the past and it has always worked out well.

Dennis, i took my car there with 911 design. It worked out great.
If you have the opportunity to go, i would STRONGLY encourage it.

How is the car coming by the way? Are you going to get the race license and come out and play with us at Laguna?

Mark A & Mark K - I was hoping to make it to Road America this year and thought I could do so when I posted that message 6 months ago. I was planning a cross-country drive on street tires & shipping some R-compounds to Wisconsin, but stuff happens. My engine is coming back together, but it's going to take a little more time.

Have fun at Road America. IMO that's THE best road course in the US.

This will be interesting, me driving with Carl and Agnes in DE2. I'm the one being lapped. Jean-Louie and Paul G., in a Yellow 1989 Porsche 928 GT, will be in DE1.

I am not sure yet whether I will be in DE1 or DE2.
I think they saw the listing "1978 928" and put me in DE2.
They do not know me or this car very well - I have only run one other PCA Chicago event at Road America and that was back in 2003. I am an unknown to them.

Default Photographer Added

I am pleased to announce we have secured a professional photographer for the event.

His name is Robert Hambley and he does both trackside photography as well as digital art. Digital art is where they take a photo of your car and blend it into the backgrounds of your choice, with logos, brand names, whatever.

The attached photo is a sample.

More samples of his automobile photography can be had by clicking here:
http://www.rlhambleyphotography.com/...dex.asp?c=1327

Robert's samples will be displayed in our booth at the event, and he will be available for you on Saturday or Sunday should you want something special done with pictures of your 928.

They can certainly make you a nice piece of frameable art to memorialize the weekend and your beautiful 928!

Carl I don't think they differentiate DE1 and DE2 with speed and experience. Labor day DE is always tricky, two classes instead of four and close to 60 cars on the track instead of around 25. This would be hard to have a clear lap.

They just moved me to DE1, I'm told, because DE2 was packed and DE1 had a little more room in it. They said they were/are very full up these days. This is a big event!

My dad and I are driving up from Iowa early Sunday Morning. We plan on staying just that day to spectate and hang out with the 928 crowd. We are staying in Fon Du Lac Sunday evening and may/may not return for part of Monday's events.

Jean-Louie, Agnes & Paul are at the track (in still at the Osthoff). We unpacked the cars last night, so when you come up the tunnel look for the 928's on your left.
