Looking good Rog. I see the '78 moved. Did you find the keys I lost yesterday? Am I ungrounded yet?

Herman had the keys the second time round.

It was the starter - swapped it out and all is good.

Jason,

I have an '87 wing I would sell to you... Seriously. I don't know what it is worth. Been in storage so it might be be worth ANYTHING anymore...I don't know. I'll try and get it out and look at it if you are intersted...

What do you guys think. I know Porsche is pretty proud of the folding wings...

$400? $300? I really have no idea... Roger???

Hey, Rog, great job on the car, but I am not sure about the winglessness either. I like the marker and bumperette delete though FOR SURE! My '92 in Polar silver needs its front and rear bumper covers painted as well as the rear quarter panels. Everything else is pretty good...what would that cost do you think and should I take the stuff off (well not the quarters) and have it done or just let the body shop take that stuff off???

Thanks guys!

Rog, love the luggage cover. Hey, speaking of wings....I've got a bare spot on my wall!

Sorry Ed,

This one is my bad, I've still not taken it to the print shop for what we want printed on it. Then we need to take it for some clear coat.

We just want to keep you in suspense.

I would still rather see a bigger wing, or stock, than no wing at all.
However, I still think the pre-S OB's still look perfect with no wing.

I agree with you, except on the GTS's. They can pull it off, the S4's can't. Something just looks out of place.

We need to get a pic of Rog's and Sterlings next to each other for a wingless shot.

I think I'm gonna have to eat my words. I didn't like the wing delete in the 1st pics but these look nice. Roger post some side pics when you get the time.

James Thanks for the offer. Not sure if I'm liking these on the OB's anymore now that I've looked at them for a while. Might install it if you wanted to sell it for the same price as a used "S" wing from Roger. I think he said $100 or $125 a while back when we talked about it. I'm sure someone here would offer you more so I'm sure you won't go for the deal. Thank you for thinking of me. Jason

Some of them look good, some don't.

This one grew on me on the '81. Sorry I can't get any good rear shots, don't feel like pushing it away from the fence, or washing it. Painted looks much better.

WOW Sean painted does make a big difference in the look. I love the color. Are the filler strips supposed to be painted? Mine aren't. Still wish I had a sun roof. I need to sit in a sunroof car when I come down to see if I still want one with the headroom issue. Jason

Wow Roger, that looks great!

Honestly I prefer the winged look but wingless can be pulled off if you delete everything (bumperettes, side markers etc).

Love the luggage cover too, great addition.

Rubber gasket (filler strip) should NOT be painted... It is a PITA to take off the bumpercovers though so many end up painted.

James,
Rear cover comes off in less than 1 Hour - very easy.
Front is a little harder.

I wonder why anyone would paint the gasket then?! That is stupid!

How to both front and rear come apart from the metal body parts where they meet? I need to have my front and rear bumper covers on the '92 painted REALLY badly and I would LOVE to take them off and then just take them down to have it done (of course would it MATCH?!)...
