Post THE LAST BOLT

Why is the last bolt always such a &*^%$$%**&^&&? <img border="0" alt="[soapbox]" title="" src="graemlins/soapbox.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[ouch]" title="" src="graemlins/c.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[crying]" title="" src="graemlins/crying.gif" />

Doesn't matter. It's always the last one you undo/do/work on/sweat over/question it's ancestry/sexuality/morality/. You can hear the designers cackling as your knuckles bleed! <img border="0" alt="[crying]" title="" src="graemlins/crying.gif" />

I know why, in my case.

I save the hardest to get too/most aquward for last.

Also, if there is any force at all trying to pull the bolt out, it gets focuesed on that last bolt...

Has NOTHING to do with forces or logic. It's Bolt Devils and Evil Spirits! Spaces close up to prevent you from getting a wrench in, and bolt sizes change to prevent you from getting the wrench on AFTER you've removed the offending obstruction, like the engine, body, garage wall, etc.
And I am NOT paranoid! Everybody really does hate me!! <img border="0" alt="[soapbox]" title="" src="graemlins/soapbox.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[icon107]" title="" src="graemlins/icon107.gif" />

Red face

My personal favorite's on the 928 are the vacuum from hell line's that run under the intake, the dual "wtf did they mount them there" brake sensors on the early models,and need we discuss steering gearsuspension on a family oriented forum?
But till you try removing the Ford F-150 thermostat gooseneck/housing (just two small bolts, right? <img border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" title="" src="graemlins/cussing.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[crying]" title="" src="graemlins/crying.gif" /> ) you can't really appreciate either the sheer ignorance of a design engineer with zero wrench turning experience, or, perhaps the fact that Rube Goldberg actually had offspring, that lived!
In any case there is a special place in Hell for the Bastiges. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" title="" src="graemlins/bigok.gif" />
Oops,
Forgot those corner bolt& nut combinations on the 928 spoiler.
