Default 928 Specialists "BlackBird" Dyno chart

Just noticed this on the 928 Specialists Website. Gain of 11 RWHP and almost 16 RWTQ. Plus it looks WAY COOL! Click on the picture for the link.

Hmm...that would have made it a lot easier to see the shavings when my first belt was eroding.

But $700 vs. a broken timing belt... Which would you rather have?

Andrew, isnt this whats on your car with the TS kit?

I dont like the transparent part. But You could just as easily paint it black. I think it looks a bit "naff" to use a british expletive.

So is this on a 100% stock engine, no shark tuning just simply bolted on?

Holy crap. I'd pay that to gain 11hp on my track car.

DR...........do you need a CIS test dummy? Please?

Hmmm, 11hp for $700. Coolness yes, cost effective, no.

HP, this is on my 88 auto. Essentially a poster child for 928 Specialists bolt-ons. The only mods are bolt-ons: RMB, X-pipe w/high flow cats and AFR, stock wires, plugs etc....no mods between the two runs. In regards to the blip at 5k, we repeated the run ( shorter though/ running out of dyno time, cut it off early after 5k) and didn't see it there. I'm going to do another run with air fuel ratios, comparing it to the runs I did to set the AFR, also I plan on meeting with DR and get some time on his Shark Tuner to optimize the set-up. I'll keep you posted, or DR will. Andrew, I personally feel thet if we paint the intakes red I'll see a signifcant increase, don't you think...red cars/mods are faster?! Ed M

Of course! It's the Italian mentality... [Italian Accent] "Let's make a car that goes faster than any-body-elses... and paint it RED! [/Italian Accent]
