928 Intake Manifold Gaskets - need anything else
I'm going to re-install the air intake spider on my '83S in a few days - with new gaskets of course.
Question is: Do I need to add any kind of sealant or conditioning chemical to the basic gasket before I bolt the manifold down?
Thanks.

I'm doing the same this weekend, and unless anyone says otherwise I'm working on the assumption that new gaskets (thin fibreboard, not rubber) are all you need, with no gloop required.
You must have removed the injectors to get the intake off, the plastic bushes that mount them should be replaced too. And the clips that hold the fuel hose feeding the injectors if you are fitting fresh hose.

Did mine last year. Didn't use any sealant on the gaskets. Replaced rubber tubes to upper plenum and fule injector bushings. No more leaks.

Thanks everybody, for your advice. I did pull the injectors, fuel lines etc. - Wouldn't have done it without the background I got here.
Now if I can just remember where all those parts go...

Nothing on the gaskets, go dry. If you need to replace the black rubber hoses, a cheaper alternative it to buy some Purosil silicon turbocharger hose. 2.75" works great, but it is blue.
