Robert,

There is a wheel/lock mechanism affixed on the back of the mirror that is accessable from the service hole on the bottom edge of the mirror, flag. It is my guess that you would get the whole mirror/backing. You'll have to remove your backplate and just lock in the replacement piece.

It takes a few minutes the first time or two but it isn't that hard.

Had this happem to both of mine (not at same time) pass side was dangling as I was doing 80 on fwy - pull over and it fell into my hand, whew.

I cleaned surface and just used clear silicone sealant/adhesive. Just be sure that the application of the silicone adhesive is of consistent thinkness or you'll end up with a convex or concave mirror. Ask me how I know. NOt convex anymore tho.

I have the whole mechanism. Let me know if the corresponding attachments are broken. G

Did they attach the pins and mounts, or just hand you a piece of glass?
