I campaign a street-legal 928 track car, like a lot of us do. I want to remove my elctric window motors this winter to save some weight, but still put the windows up and down. I was thinking of Nylon webbing - "windows straps" they used to call them. Anybody seen any really elegant solution for this? I hear the 911R (for Ralleye) had leather window straps with snaps on them to hold different positions. Your ideas are welcome.
