Hi Guys, Thanks for all the kind words. It's been just over a week and I'm absolutely loving it. My daily driver's been in the shop with some major service. That's given me an excuse to drive the shark every day this week. I took some pics. There are only two body blems. A ding below the driver's side mirror, and a crack in the rear bumper, very small. I'm going to get the ding taken out in a week or so, but I'll have to live with the crack in the bumper. Also, getting the timming belt and water pump replaced next week. http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/mikevsgts01.jpg http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/mikevsgts02.jpg http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/mikevsgts03.jpg http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/mikevsgtsint.jpg

Mike,
Very nice!
I consider small blemishes like the ones you mentioned tantamount to scratches on a fine leather saddle or a little sediment in a bottle of good vino.
They give it character. Our cars are similar
other than GTS vs S4 specs.I wish you good luck with an icon among icons.

Cool

Hi Mike,

Nice road rocket. Welcome to the tribe. You may want to look at this post for timing belt essentials. There are lots of variables in work content for that job. I updated an earlier document that is relevant, and posted it there. See recent post: 91 S4 nickle&dime stuff?

Thanks for the kudos guys.

Jerry, those other cars are two of my employees. They ding, they're fired.

How much did you pay for your GTS?

Thanks,

Just saw and ad for a '94 GTS blk/blk 5spd with 40K miles in the LA Times this morning. Same as mine with 7500 fewer miles, asking price – $49,900. Hope he gets it.
