I got 13k miles on mine. The back were looking a little thin and the front had too much wear on the inside.

I now get 15 to 20,000 miles but before I bought my extra track set I'd get 10K,,, if I was lucky, and even less when I took my first 28 to an unqualified alignment shop.
Some of those all weekend long SCCA meets are hell on tires but high in the fun factor.

Previously I had dunlops on the front and Pirellis on the back. Replaced them with Bridgestone Pole Positon - they are great in comparison.

I here Kuhmos ( sp? ) are popular also.

I switched from P215/50VR15 Pirelli P4000s to P225/50VR15 Toyo Proxes TPT's on my OB phone dials this spring before SITM. The Toyos are a
great tire (especially in the rain) but the Seat-o-the-Pants meter tells me that the Pirellis were just a tad grippier on dry road. I switched partially due to cost, but mostly to try something else. When the time comes, I will probably switch back to Pirellis and spend the extra 100 bucks.

In the mean time i would like to get a cheap set of 16" phone dials to use for AX and DE's. If anyone is selling a set for around 200-250 bucks let me know. For that price i only ask they arent bent. I can repaint myself.
