I put a post on here looking for a master brake cylinder, but now it is gone, does anyone know why?

It was most likely deleted as a spam post. Or it was inappropriate in some form.

Lol I just was looking for a master cylinder, It wasn't spam or anything. I'm a new owner of a 1979 Porsche 928. I'm in need of some parts and stuff and was just posting on here what I need. If the name is provoking in anyway I will change it, but I am very much indeed in extasy over this car. Compared to my 91 Dodge stealth TT AWD it bows it away. I love it!

Please read through the top post 'A New Visitor?...'

Had you done so before posting, you would have had your answer.

I did read that before I posted, What am I looking for? There is no need to play school teacher here, just tell me what I did and I will not do it again. If I forgot to post the make and model of the car Im sorry, but this is the 928 section, I thought I posted that it was a 79 but maybe I didnt, sorry.

Hey X -

"#7 in BS for Autocrossing"

How are you running in BS?? Engine Mods...non-stock suspensions changes...

Hell - I'm having to run BSP just because of the OTT X-over and resultant lack of cats!

Randy. Are you saying that unless it comes from one of the 3 suppliers mentioned, or asked directly to them first we can not post a question on this board?

Randy:

I've got to admit...you've got me confused, too.

If someone posts a question that is answered by the New Visitor thread, why not say so in a reply rather than deleting the post? Deleting the original post only results in confusion.

No, I'm saying that if he had read though, he would have discovered THREE sources for 928 parts.

Randy, could it be that he might want a used brake cylinder? The members of this board are known to have some weird things in their garages.

I'm rather confused myself. You never deleated my posts for used ballast reisters, or a used AFM, or anything of that sort.

Course, I never saw his post, so who knows!

If someone asks a question in an honest manor, it shouldn't matter how many times it has been asked before or whether it is in the "New Visitors" FAQ. Why not just let it go ?

Just wondering...

928_XTASY, Dont take it personal. Randy loves to have a chance to blast someone or anyone. He has blasted me so many times that I dont care anymore. Just take a look at how many times I have posted about my timing/vacuum issue. This time around its getting a lot of useful data where as the previous times it did not. Of course I am a member and he's probably got special treatment for members.

But he can still kiss my A$$ Ha...

Hey Randy, do you have a spare distributor I could borrow...
