I cant wait to hear about it
wish i could go. maybe next year when i get the RENNLIST engine put into the Holbert car!

JV, any predictions on times for the beast?? since Sebring was a fast track, and you ran the time of the fastest speed Touring cars, i say a little faster since you may have gotten to know it better, say 2:25? (speed touring ran 2:27s).
Wish i was going, but Infinion is not a bad second choise for that weekend!
I cant wait to come back to RA!!!!!

I won't make RA this year due to a personal issue that won't be resolved by then.

Let's plan to race each other at RA in 2008. I'll really know my car by then

You are going to have enough issues trying to get the boost to work with CIS on the stock motor.

Quick question: What is the most powerful 928 you have driven?
Very good plan, just that until the 5.0 is complete, grenading the "S" would leave me out for a while. Still might be the way to go though once the 5.0 is finished.

As for the fastest 928? That would be mine. Not sure of the exact HP as I have not hit a dyno, but stock Euro "S" with 85 exhaust, Y-pipe, single flowmaster delta 50, 18"x 3" dual side exit pipes, MSD ignition w/retard control (set at 6*), HVC coil, plus 150HP nitrous at WOT. Best GT-tech run showed 410HP peak. I'm running fairly rich to be on the safe side. Could get an extra 20hp or so by leaning out a little. Nitrous adds 150hp from 5000-6000rpms but starts at 75hp around 2500rpm, ramping up smoothly to 5000rpms. It's smooth and I love the feel, however I want more, mostly for bragging rights, plus I don't want to have to refill nitrous as often.

One thought I had as for going high HP with CIS is to jet the fuel side of the nitrous higher. Ie add 50-75hp nitrous to boost to add power and also cool the charge, but add 100hp fuel if the CIS leans out at high RPM. Crude but my nitrous controller will monitor A/F mix up to WOT and adjust fuel flow.

Baby steps - start with 4 psi. You'll have enough gremlins to fight even at that low boost level (ask me how I know )
